In dem Flotten Fortschrittssystem können eine vielzahl an Projekten für die Flotten Forschungslabor Einrichtung ausgewählt werden. Diese liefern oft Erfahrungspunkte und einige ästhetische Veränderungen. Zwei reguläre Projekte können zur selben Zeit aktiv sein, sowie ein Spezielles Projekt und ein Upgrade-Projekt.

Freischaltung höherer Stufen fügt weitere Projekte hinzu, die angestoßen werden können. Unterschiedliche angeforderte Ressourcen werden mit unterschiedlichen Mengen an Flottencredits Flottencredits für jedes unterstützendes Flottenmitglied entlohnt.
